About me

Hi, I'm Teresa.

My teaching journey started after JC, when I worked with children at a student care centre. I found it so fulfilling that I kept teaching as a tuition teacher all through university.

I've since taught at tuition centres for over three years, and I left my corporate job to teach full time. I started unravelled so I could teach the way I enjoy most: in small groups and 1-to-1, where I get to know each child and how they learn.

Lessons follow the MOE syllabus, and I curate every explainer and worksheet so they match how I teach.

Teresa, unravelled

Why a class of three works

Every child gets attention

With three students at most, I can watch each child work, catch mistakes as they happen and explain again in a different way when something doesn't click.

Planned on the MOE syllabus

Each lesson follows the MOE syllabus for your child's level, and builds the skills and question types that come up in exams.

Paced to your child

Children who need more practice get extra worksheets matched to their speed. Children who are ready move on to harder problem sums.

Classes and fees

One lesson a week. Fees are per child, per subject, and paid upfront each term, with no deposit or registration fee.

Group vs 1-to-1

Students often come from different schools, which cover topics in a different order. So group lessons follow the MOE syllabus for the level, and I give take-home worksheets so your child can practise for school exams.

  • Up to 3 students in a class
  • Follows the MOE syllabus for the level
  • Take-home worksheets for exam practice
1-to-1

Lessons and worksheets are tailored to what your child is learning in school, so we can work on the exact topics their class is covering.

  • Full focus on your child
  • Tailored to your child's school topics
  • Same lesson length as group classes

2027 term calendar

Questions parents ask

Can't find yours? Send me a WhatsApp.

Where are lessons held?

December 2026 classes are held at the group study pod at Tengah Community Club. From January 2027, classes move to Parc Flora, Singapore 691325. I'll send you the full details once your child's slot is confirmed.

Which levels and subjects do you teach?

Maths for K1 to P6, and science for P3 to P6, in line with the MOE syllabus.

How many children are in a class?

Three at most.

How does billing work?

Fees are per child and per subject, and paid in full by PayNow or bank transfer by the day before the term starts. Each term has 13 weekly lessons. There's no deposit or registration fee, and a semester or year plan saves 5% or 10%.

Can my child try a lesson first?

Yes. New students can try 1 lesson free in each subject, either in a group class with a free seat or as a 1-to-1 lesson. There's no obligation to enrol. Tap "Book a free trial lesson" on the Home tab to message me.

Do you offer 1-to-1 lessons?

Yes. 1-to-1 lessons are the same length as group lessons, and I tailor the lessons and worksheets to what your child is learning in school. Switch the fees above to 1-to-1 to see the prices.

What if my child is sick or travelling?

Your child can reschedule up to 2 lessons per class each term for illness, travel or school commitments. Please tell me at least 3 hours before the lesson starts. Without that notice, the lesson can't be rescheduled and is forfeited.

What if a lesson falls on a public holiday?

There are no lessons on public holidays. Your child gets a make-up lesson, so you still get all 13 lessons in the term.

How does the referral discount work?

If a family you refer enrols, both families get $100 off their bill.

2027 yearly schedule

What we cover each week, planned on the MOE syllabus. Group classes follow this plan. 1-to-1 lessons can follow your child's school topics instead.

RevisionHead start on next year

This is a rough schedule. I'll adjust the pace to suit the class, so topics may take a little more or less time than shown.

Each week is one lesson. If a lesson falls on a public holiday, it is moved to another slot, so every term still has 13 lessons.

P5 and P6 Foundation students get a plan matched to the Foundation syllabus.

Terms and conditions

"We" means unravelled; "your child's class" means one child in one subject. Paying the fees means you agree to these terms. Tap each heading to read it.

1Enrolment
  1. Enrolment is per term. You can sign up for 1 term, 2 or 3 terms in a row (5% off) or a year (4 terms in a row, 10% off). A place is confirmed once we receive payment.
  2. Continuing students keep their slot for the next term. Please tell us by the start of the term's last 2 weeks whether your child will continue.
  3. Each class has at most 3 students. Places are given in the order payments are received.
2Fees and payment
  1. Term fees are paid in full and upfront, by the day before the term starts, by PayNow or bank transfer, with your child's name as the reference. Your child can join lessons once the term's fees are paid. There is no deposit or registration fee.
  2. Semester and year plans are paid in full by the day before the first term starts.
  3. Students who join after a term has started pay a pro-rated fee (see section 8).
  4. Fees are per child, per subject. Lessons missed for reasons other than those in section 5 are not refunded or credited.
3Free trial lesson
  1. Each new student can attend 1 free trial lesson per subject, either in a group class with a free seat or as a 1-to-1 lesson, at a time we agree.
  2. There is no obligation to enrol. To keep the seat after the trial, please pay the term fees within 3 days; after that, we may offer the seat to another family.
4Withdrawal and refunds
  1. If you withdraw at least 2 weeks before a term starts, we refund that term's fees in full.
  2. If we have to end a class or cannot offer a suitable slot, we will refund the unused lessons in full.
5Rescheduling for travel or illness
  1. Each child may reschedule up to 2 lessons per class per term for travel, illness or school commitments.
  2. To reschedule, please tell us at least 3 hours before the lesson starts. Without this notice, the lesson cannot be rescheduled and is forfeited.
  3. Make-up lessons are arranged in another class at the same level or at another agreed time, subject to the teacher's schedule and class size.
  4. Make-ups must be taken within the same term and do not carry over. Lessons missed beyond the 2 allowed, or without notice, are not made up or refunded. We will still pass on the week's handouts.
  5. Public-holiday and teacher-absence make-ups (sections 6 and 7) do not count towards the 2.
6Public holidays

There are no lessons on public holidays. Affected lessons are made up in another agreed slot.

7Rescheduling by the teacher, absence and disruptions
  1. The teacher reserves the right to reschedule a class when needed. The replacement lesson will be arranged at a time that suits your child's schedule, and it does not count towards your 2 reschedules. If the teacher is ill or cannot teach, we will arrange a make-up lesson in the same way. If we cannot find a suitable time, the lesson is credited to your next bill or refunded.
  2. If a lesson cannot go ahead at the usual venue (for example, the study pod is unavailable or there is a household emergency), we may reschedule it, with as much notice as possible.
8Joining partway through a term
  1. If your child joins after a term has started, the fee is pro-rated: you pay only for the lessons left in that term, at the usual hourly rate for your child's level and class type.
  2. The pro-rated fee is paid in full before your child's first lesson.
9Fee changes

Fees will only change at the start of a new term. If you have paid for a semester or a year, your price is fixed for that whole plan.

10Venue, punctuality, drop-off and pick-up
  1. Lessons in December 2026 are held at the group study pod at Tengah Community Club. From January 2027, lessons are held at Parc Flora, Singapore 691325; we will send the full address when your place is confirmed. Please arrive on time. Lessons end at the scheduled time even if a student arrives late.
  2. Please drop off and collect your child at the door on time. We are responsible for your child only during lesson time.
  3. There is a 15-minute grace period for late pick-ups. After that, a late pick-up fee of $15 applies for every 30 minutes.
  4. Please let us know whether your child may be released to go home on their own.
11Health and safety
  1. Please keep your child at home if they have a fever, a contagious illness or are unwell. This counts as a reschedule under section 5.
  2. Please tell us about any allergies, medical conditions or learning needs at enrolment, and keep your emergency contact details up to date.
12Conduct
  1. Students are expected to be kind and respectful to the teacher, classmates and the venue.
  2. If a student's behaviour repeatedly disrupts the class, we will speak with you first. As a last resort, we may withdraw the place and refund the unused lessons.
  3. Parents are asked to keep messages to the teacher respectful too.
13Photos and social media
  1. We share teaching content on social media. We will never post your child's face, name or school without your written consent.
  2. With your permission, we may share photos of worksheets or work in progress with names and faces removed. You can opt in or out on the sign-up form and change your choice any time.
14Personal data

We collect your contact details and your child's details only to run lessons, send invoices and contact you in an emergency. We do not share them with anyone else, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act.

15Learning materials

Worksheets and explainers are included in the fees. They are for your child's own use and should not be copied or shared.

16Communication

We reply to messages on 8944 9915 (WhatsApp) or [email protected]. Please contact us directly rather than through other parents.

17Referrals

If you refer a new family who enrols, both families get $100 off their bill.

18Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will tell you at least 2 weeks before changes take effect. Paying the fees means you agree to these terms.
